REGISTRATION: Mardi Gras Parade Registrations Start Next Monday - 17 January

Happy new year everyone! Welcome back and back to Mardi Gras Season 2011!

REGISTRATIONS START ONLINE HERE NEXT MONDAY (17 JANUARY 2011)

Registrations for our Mardi Gras 2011 Parade Float are about to open. And we want you back for another year!

Please register by the beginning of February.

Swimwear:

Our swimwear is being specially made by aussieBum and we MUST get sizes to aussieBum by the first week of February. This is particularly important for our female marchers. Once you register we can give you times and places to come and try the swimwear so that you get the right size. This year women will be able to choose different sizes for the top and the bottom.

What's on offer this year?

• This year will be bigger and better than ever!

• Music has been chosen and is being mixed and spliced by Jason Barry (JJJ parties).

• Laurence is back again to teach us how to dance and prance.

• Jono has his ideas about the design of the parade entry - think more centre pieces this year which go "bang"!

• We are fixing up our flags.

• Discussions have commenced with Ignatius Jones, the Parade Artistic Director, about our role in the parade. We will shine like never before!

• One of our main sponsors has offered to help us out - and we think this will make our preparations so much more fun, our events stand out and our parade entry fantastic.

We have lots to share with you - and look forward to seeing you all at the first rehearsal on Thursday, 10 February at Bondi Surf Lifesaving Club at 6.30pm.

Rehearsal dates:

Remember you must turn up to 3 - and the final rehearsal. Interstate members please learn on Youtube and attend the final rehearsal.

#3 Thursday, 24 February at 7.00pm

#4 Wednesday, 2 March at 7.00pm

#5 Friday, 4 March at 7.00pm (FINAL - COMPULSORY ATTENDANCE)
