So you want to be a part of this exciting Mardi Gras float? Please check your suitability against our requirements:
- A current SLSA Bronze Medallion holder or equivalent
- If you are not a lifesaver but you would love to join in the fun, send us details of how you believe you can add to the flair of our float
- A reasonable level of fitness (you’ll be marching for up to 1.5 hours)
- Availability to attend at least 3 of the scheduled rehearsals in the weeks leading up to the parade (any fewer may jeopardise your ability to participate)
- Look great in a pair of speedos (not a requirement, but some people will be wearing these while others will be in full uniform!)
- Enthusiasm and a smile!
