Complementary BBQ at the Beresford Hotel this Monday!

Come celebrate our GOLD winning Parade performance at the Beresford Hotel Monday night (2 April) from 7pm.

BBQ to be provided by the Beresford on arrival.

The night will run as follows:
+ 7.00pm eat drink and gossip in the rear courtyard of the Hotel;
+ LWP Annual General Meeting Upstairs at the Hotel; and
+ 8.00pm laugh, drink and gossip at the screening of the LWP Mardi Gras Parade 2012 DVD on the rear wall of the courtyard of the Hotel.

We are accepting nominations for new Committee positions, anyone keen to be the Social Media or Pre Mardi Gras Events Co-ordinator?

We won GOLD on Monday Night!

Amongst a plethora of silver awards at the Mardi Gras 20120 awards night last night, Lifesavers with Pride won a GOLD Parade Award for our SHOWSTOPPING PARADE ENTRY!

Only 4 GOLD Parade Awards were handed out!

Well done everyone, past and present – this is our biggest award ever!

Parade DVD viewing night Beresford Hotel Monday 2 April!

Make sure you come along to the Parade DVD viewing night at the Beresford Hotel on Monday 2 April 2012.

The Beresford Hotel are promoting it and providing us with some sustenance on the night.

The night will run as follows:
+ Commence at 7.00 pm in the rear courtyard of the Hotel – meet, drink and gossip;
+ Annual General Meeting of LWP Upstairs at the Hotel – vote for the new committee; and
+ Screening of the DVD at 8.00 pm on the rear wall of the courtyard of the Hotel – laugh, drink gossip.

To my fabulous, sexy and amazing Lifesavers 2012

Words can not describe how proud I am of you all and how excited I am so see you in the parade this year. It's been such a joy to work with you all and I know we are going to smash it tonight. Thankyou so much for all your hard work and dedication. The one really important thing I forgot to say during rehearsals is how much I respect and admire you all for being real lifesavers and putting your lives on the line to help others. You are all a real inspiration and so loved in this community. Have the best time, remember to pace yourselves and breath!! It's gonna look so great and the crowd are going to love you like I do every time I see your happy smiling faces. Thankyou so much for making my choreography look so good and making me so fucking happy!!!
